Hot flashes NOT during menopause or pregnancy?

I am not pregnant and am not going through menopause but for the last month or so i have been having hot flashes! Know what they are because when i was pregnant i had them. i wake up in the night with them and get them during the day too. Not every day and not all day or anything. I don't know why because like i said, i don't have either of the 2 conditions associated with them. Does anyone else get them without apparent cause? What can i do to stop them or at least not be so miserable? When i was pregnant nothing helped but surely that was because i was pregnant? Any advice welcome!

Answers:

Why is it absolutely neither? There is such a thing as early menopause.... as early as your 20's.

If you have other symptoms I would call your doctor.
